Four generations of craft

Made for today. Kept for tomorrow.

Our story begins in Scotland, where Aiko's great-grandfather, Herbert Stevenson, ran a woollen mill near Edinburgh, weaving the tweeds that made Scottish textiles famous around the world. His son, Drummond, expanded the business, selling Macnab tweeds across Europe and the United States.

Aiko's father, Peter, later carried that heritage to Hong Kong, sourcing some of the world's finest cashmere from Inner Mongolia — where bitter winters produce exceptionally soft fibres.

Four generations later, that devotion to quality lives on in every piece we make.

Made for Real Kids

MIKA & MILO is named after our founder's two kids — and created for real childhood. We began as a pure cashmere label, but soon realised that beautiful knitwear also needed to survive paint, puddles, climbing frames, and the washing machine.

So we developed something better: a blend of 95% organic cotton and 5% cashmere that is soft, naturally itch-free, machine-washable, and built to last.

Buy Less, Choose Well, Pass It On

We believe children's knitwear should be worn often, washed easily, and loved for longer.

Each piece is designed to soften with age and outlast the child who wears it first — ready to be passed from sibling to sibling, and kept for years to come.

That isn't a marketing line. It's simply how we believe things should be made.

Made for today. Kept for tomorrow.
