We are super chuffed to announce that we picked up GOLD at this year's Junior Design Awards for Best Children's Fashion Brand! A huge thank you to the entire team at Junior Magazine and all the lovely judges. We are literally over the moon!

We are thrilled to announce that won GOLD at this year's Junior Design Awards for Best Knitwear Children's Knitwear Collection.

WHO: Mika & Milo Cashmere
WHAT:
Scottish Cashmere Separates for children
WHY: The beautifully soft blend of cashmere and merino in these jumpers, cardigans and dresses is heaven to touch. Our judges were extremely impressed by both the exceptional quality of these pieces and the mix of cool contemporary designs with some more traditional silhouettes. Lightning bolt and rocket motifs, simple pared back dresses and the eternally popular popcorn knit cardigan all scored highly. The brand’s emphasis on sustainability and passing down treasured heirloom pieces also resonated with the panel.

"Really cool. To find a fashion forward brand making in cashmere. I used to dress my own kids in head-to-toe cashmere in winter and the options were very limited! Really lovely collection."
Abi Campbell, children’s fashion photographer and brand consultant, @abicampbellphotography
"Beautiful pieces. So lovely to hear a brand's backstory too."
Charlotte Kewley, children’s stylist, @thelittlestylist
"Love the quality and combination of timeless & modern pieces. Fascinating story behind the brand. As a fellow Scot I know a little about Scottish cashmere, loved hearing more."
Emma McMenemy, Content Creator, @emma_mcmenemy
"These are the most beautiful, luxurious, sustainable pieces. They have a wonderful family design history and are perfect for future hand-me-downs."
Jakki Jones, artist and talent PR, @jakkidoodles
"Really lovely collection. The boys wear really stood out, a little different with the colour pops. A stylish twist on a classic style."

WINNER OF BEST CHILDREN’S KNITWEAR COLLECTION: GOLD

WHO: Mika & Milo Cashmere
WHAT: Sustainable Children’s Cashmere brand
WHY: These beautifully made cashmere clothes really appealed to our judges who loved the mix of traditional silhouettes in beautiful sugared almond shades and more contemporary pieces featuring lightening bolts in a zingy palette of cobalt blue and tomato red. An adorable popcorn knit romper with ruffles was a stand out piece as was a zipable cashmere cardigan that was deemed very cool by several of our judging team. The panel were also extremely impressed with the founders’ dedication to creating a brand that is the  antithesis of fast fashion with an emphasis on creating clothes that are long lasting and kind to the planet.

An absolutely beautiful way to present children’s cashmere. I love the soft colour palette and fashionable designs, while the details such as the thunder bolt and ruffles make this such a darling brand.
